Who We
Are 
Center Ridge Presbyterian Church is a 90-year old congregation located
in the Glendale community of northern Johnston Co. Though we've
been a rural congregation all these years, we embrace the growth that
is coming to our part of the county, and we welcome any who God may
lead to serve Him with us here.
Perhaps because we're located near the old Glendale School site, a
large percentage of our members are schoolteachers, either active or
retired. This lends a unique flavor to our fellowship; we love
learning and Bible study, and this love enriches the congregation's
life.
We're also a loving church. Dr. McDuffie, our pastor, says "I've
been in many churches over my 25 years of ministry, but have never
experienced two congregations as sweet in temperament and full of the
real love of Christ as the two I'm serving now- Center Ridge and Oak
Grove."
Center Ridge's members are heavily involved in the Glendale-Kenly
community, so you'll undoubtedly see someone you know, someone with
whom you work, someone who taught you in school, or someone who
volunteers at the hospital or Tobacco Farm Life museum.
